No. Physicians (MD/DO) have full independent practice authority and can perform all facial aesthetic procedures without supervision in all 50 states. Additionally, you can supervise other providers such as NPs, PAs, RNs, and aestheticians who perform these treatments under your medical direction.
Facial aesthetic services offer excellent profit margins. Chemical peels typically range from $150-500 per treatment depending on depth and type. Microneedling sessions range from $250-700, especially when combined with PRP. Microdermabrasion treatments range from $100-250. Because these treatments require regular maintenance (every 4-6 weeks for some services), they create predictable recurring revenue.
