The American Academy of Procedural Medicine (AAOPM) offers a number of medical procedural trainings to compliment the Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine trainings. These courses are typically insurance reimbursable and are encountered frequently in a primary care setting. The purpose of these courses is to diagnose and identify potential health issues for patients as well as offering various treatment options to further patient care and favorable outcomes.

The AAOPM training workshops have been designed for all attendees to receive the latest protocols, standard of care considerations, and all information needed for you to immediately start offering these services to patients after the program. Supplemental information and ancillary educational materials related to the program are given to attendees through the physician portal. All forms, consents, intake forms, treatment forms, and other administrative tools are also given as well as full color manuals utilized during the training. All supplies needed for the “hands-on” element for the programs is included in your tuition.

As with all of the certification procedural training AAOPM offers there is a symmetry of services that patients demand and are indicated for.

Though not all the procedures and protocols discussed in the courses allow for insurance reimbursement, the medical benefits for offering these new services to patients allows for enhanced patient care and compliance. If you consider the cross section of your own patient population that suffer from obesity, weight problems, allergies (i.e. asthma, food allergies, environmental), and who suffer from moderate to severe acne it represents a large portion. The training will be conducted by AAOPM faculty of Board-Certified Dermatologists, Internists, and other specialties to insure your training is complete.
