Yes. Our Functional Medicine Training course awards 7.5 continuing education credits. All AAOPM courses provide AAOPM certification and a Certificate of Completion. We also offer a pathway to the AAOPM Certified Practitioner Credential in Anti-Aging/Functional Medicine for NPs who complete the required coursework.
In full practice authority states (over 25 states), NPs can independently prescribe bioidentical hormones and related medications. In reduced or restricted practice states, NPs work under collaborative agreements with physicians.
