Your ability to perform Botox independently depends on your state's practice authority laws. In full practice authority states (27+ states including AZ, CO, MT, NM, WA, OR), NPs can practice independently without physician oversight. In reduced practice states, you'll need a collaborative agreement. In restricted practice states, physician supervision is required. Regardless of your state, AAOPM training prepares you to practice safely within any regulatory framework.
