Advanced Aesthetics Training FAQ for Physician Assistants

Yes. PAs can perform advanced aesthetic procedures within the supervision framework established with their collaborating physician. Many states have modernized PA practice laws, with 13+ states now offering Optimal Team Practice (OTP) which allows greater autonomy in aesthetic settings. The scope of procedures you can perform is typically defined by your collaborative agreement.
The course covers liquid rhinoplasty (non-surgical nose reshaping), jawline and chin contouring, tear trough treatment for under-eye hollows, advanced lip techniques, and full face harmonization. You'll learn both needle and cannula techniques with emphasis on safety protocols and complication management for these complex procedures.
PAs should have completed foundational Botox and dermal filler training or have equivalent clinical experience with aesthetic injectables.
